Memorial Day Weekend - Part 2

The kids rode their bikes (Gracie had just learned to ride without training wheels) . . .
. . . did some sunbathing . . .
. . . and throwing of rocks (see Tanner's hand). Chad and Paul had a friendly little competition of rock throwing, which was fun to watch.
The first night we got there @ 10:30 PM, so Nellie and I just slept in the back of the suburban. In the morning we put up our little blue tent (complete with air mattresses) where we slept the rest of the time so I could afford my husband the pleasure of "being the parent" (with some helpful "suggestions" from me of course). That's why you see the back seat of the suburban out by the trailer, which came to be known as "the white trash couch". It may have been white trashy but it sure was a comfortable place to sit
Ya gotta love that (root) beer can in the background - it sort of completes the picture don't you think?
