. . . they washed in streams and worked and PLAYED . .

Besides enjoying a hoe down the night before with all the 250-300 youth together, Saturday, we milked goats and made, and tasted, cheese. We pulled taffy, competed in relay races between families (ours kicked tail!!),bobbed for apples, played horse shoes, threw hatchets, competed in a tug of war,
did the stick pull (our "son", Zach, was huge and strong as a moose. Notice how he's flinging this guy over him with ease),
gunny sack races (Dylan)
and of course the log sawing race (Seth and Cam). Lee and I even competed with another Ma & Pa . . . and WON!! Ye haw! It was hard, and I was really tired when I got home, but it was also an experience that I'll never forget.
