Josh Ward Memorial Run

Today was the Bridge of Promise Josh Ward Memorial 5K Fun Run. Josh Ward was a 16 year old friend and member of our Carnation Ward that was killed in a car accident on the last day of school (6-19-09), and he loved to run. The turn out was great! All the proceeds went to the Bridge of Promise. Here's Olivia, Nellie and Melissa before the run.
Cool sign made by my VERY cool son in law, Billy.
Lee putting his best side forward :). This new missionary (L) asked me if I let him Lee go out in public dressed like that . . . if he only knew "~
Olivia snuck up behind Nellie and Melissa and told me not to tell . . .
so we made her get in the next picture.
Getting the instructions before the run (in the church parking lot) - Quite a group huh?

Some how this got out of order - this is at the beginning of the run. Here's Tom and Becky Coomer with Kyle Spring behind on the right.
Shaini Candland finishing up on the trail.
Nellie finishing
Olivia at the end
Emily and Becky Coomer finishing with Tom behind. Good job!!
The Ward gals - Emma, Loriel and Laure
(Another picture out of order - oh well) Here comes Laure Ward and Don at the finish line.
Sally Coomer and her sister, Judy - don't they look alike? Judy is my same age which is a couple of years older than Sally.

And last but not least here's a video of the start of the run.

That is a cool sign, but not the one that I made darn it!
